Julia,
I just heard about the sad news of Tommie Lee’ s passing and can’t express how sorry and heartbroken I am. My memories of you both during our time together in Japan bring many smiles and laughter to me even after all theses years. I was hoping to be able to see you both again with the rest of the gang and so sorry we didn’t plan earlier. Please let me know if I can do anything for you and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Love you and take care, Carol

Tom was like a big Teddy Bear but always on alert for those around him. Working at the concession stands at the GA Dome to raise money for the band booster, I always felt secure knowing he’d protect us from harms way. A friend for almost 30 years. So many memories of his wonderful laugh, his love of children, our monthly dinners once the kids were grown and an unwavering friendship. Soldiers never die; they just fade away. RIP my dear friend. You will be sorely missed.

Uncle Tom has been my only father figure, my wife and kids always looked at him as my father also. I strive to be half the husband and father he has been. He is truly missed and I wish I could tell him I love him one more time.

Tom was a very special friend. He was a member of the brotherhood of war. I will miss him and his outlook on life and his laugh. He was truly a caring and generous human being. Rest easy my friend.

My Dad was the greatest man I knew...not perfect by any means, but a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, who shaped and touched the lives of not only his own children, but our friends as well. All men in my life are compared to this man who not only lovingly spent 50 years with my Mom, raised his children with anything they could ever need, but also was the father that my cousins didn't have. I love you Daddy. I miss you.

I met Tom when I was about 7 years old....over 50 years ago. It feels like he has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. He has always been there for me through all the good and bad times. He has helped me out more times than I can count. He was a very good man....the world is less without him.

My driving inspiration in many things I've done and accomplished in life has passed from this world to the next today. Tom Morris was my uncle, my dad in all but name, who I always measured myself to. He was an army Veteran, which guided me to joining the service. He was a civil servant, which guided me towards service after the military. He was an amazing dad and friend who inspired me to be a "family first" kind of man. This man was soo funny and matter of fact, he enabled me to be my true self. As a child he was the man I looked up to. As a man, he was the friend I needed when times were rough. I can't express how much he means to me and to those who were fortunate enough to have had him in their lives.
He is missed very much. I love you Uncle Tom.
