Hi, I'm Jordan Marcum - Sharon's granddaughter. It has been a little over a year since my grandmother passed, and I have finally gathered the strength to write this out to her.
Dear Grandma,
thank you for loving me and my brother more than a kid could possibly ask for. Your spirit, strength, and kindness always set great examples for us to follow. My mother is the most incredible person - thank you for bringing her into this world. You still continue to touch the lives of others through her. You were a selfless person who would always help someone in need. I adore you, and always will. It's very hard not having you here. I feel you with me sometimes, like when I'm in the car on the way to high school or even sometimes when I talk because I sound like you. You watched me grow into a young woman, and you were always so supportive about everything. I have a lot of regrets and things I wish I had done, but deep down I know that you loved me no matter what and understood. Your house was magical - one of my favorite places in the world. The pool we swam in all the time, the kitchen with all the pigs and roosters, hearing you make coffee every morning, watching movies in the guest room, falling asleep watching HGTV with you and mom, french toast, your porch and eating breakfast every morning out there. You gave me the best memories of my life. I know you wouldn't want me to cry over you being gone, but the world lost someone really special on November 30, 2018. We all miss you and we will continue to tell your story and share your magic with the rest of the world. I love you with all my heart, Grandma. I hope you are healthy, happy, and in peace. Love, Jordan.

We met Sharon and Wayne Conley when they initially moved to Florida from Michigan. Wayne passed before they could really get settled in Florida. A real shock to everyone. They were super people and a real pleasure to know. Their daughter Mechele. herself a joy to know married my nephew Dana Marcumr. Mechele is a true testament to the great qualities characterized by her parents, Sharon and Wayne. We extend our deep sympathy to Sharon's family and loved ones.

Sharon, For 25 years, our relationship was one of the most precious gifts in my life. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother-In-Law. You have been an outstanding grandmother to my children & a terrific mother to my wife. You fought the fight valiantly. I love you very much & will always miss you. Fair winds & following seas. Dana.
