Julie LaManna 73 years old Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, & Friend Julie passed peacefully on October 2nd, 2022 She was born on May 8th, 1949, in the Bronx, NY and lived most of her adult life in Yonkers, NY. Her last years were spent in Spring Hill, FL. She is preceded by her previous husbands - George Realmuto and Manny Armetta. She is survived by her husband August "Augie" LaManna who made her final years so loving and so memorable. They really knew how to enjoy and cherish their lives together. She is also survived by her three children and their partners George (Jennie), Jeana (Arime) and Jennifer (Heather), her beloved grandchildren Kaiden and Olivia, as well as Augie’s three children and grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her three sisters Phyllis, Regina and Marie and an extensive list of dear, close friends - (Aunt) Addy, Iris, Aurora, Adria, Rhonda, and Karyn to mention a few, there are many, many more. Laughter followed Julie wherever she went. If you knew her, you knew that laugh of hers was infectious! She was the life of the party, the “hostess with the mostest” with a personality that was larger than life. Julie loved to entertain her friends and family and never knew a stranger. She “had a way with words" and had the wonderful ability to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable. Whenever you entered her home, you were greeted by beautiful music that would fill the room, and you instantly felt at home. She loved to have fun in the sun and could dance the night away. She was a collector of angels. Now, she is flying high amongst them and watching over us all. She was an amazing Mother and Friend to so many. We will forever cherish all the wonderful memories and her spirit will live on forever in our hearts. A special thanks to Rebecca "Smidy," who helped and guided our Mom through all her medical needs. She quickly became family and her "third daughter" We all appreciate and are so thankful for you. She was the best Mom. She was our EVERYTHING and she will be dearly missed. We hope she knows how cherished and loved she truly was. Rest in heavenly peace Mom. Until we meet again. In lieu of flowers, and to honor our mother, donations can be made to the cancer society. Moffitt.org/donate She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She's the smell of certain foods you remember, Flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not feeling well. She's the breath in the air on the cold Winter's day. She's the sound of the rain that lull's you to sleep, She's the colors of the rainbow. She is Christmas morning. Your mother lives inside your laughter. She's the place you come from, your first home. She's the map you follow with every step you take. She's your first love, your first friend and your 1st enemy. But nothing on the Earth can separate you. Not time. Not space. Not even death.
