PAKE, ROYCE B. 76 of Spring Hill, passed away on April 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born in Morehead City, North Carolina and was a resident of this area for the past nine years. He was the owner and operator of Crossroads Service Station in Smyrna, NC for 20 years. He changed his vocation when he was in his fifties and became assistant engineer for Willis Towing Company, then went to work for Express Marine Towing Company, and received his Chief Engineer license. He is survived by his wife, Neena Grace; two daughters, Connie, and her husband, Steve Giammichele, Paula Seawell; three grandchildren, Ryan Steele, Elise Gooden, and Zachary Seawell. He was predeceased by his parents, Shirley Gray Pake and Lessie Piner Pake; and grandson, Myles Royce Gooden.
