Obituary of Robert Edward Thims

Robert Edward Thims, 78, passed away on April 3, 2022. Originally from Winthrop, MA, Bob joined the Navy in 1964 and in 1965 met and married the love his life, Jane Ellen Litteral. In 1977, Bob co-founded England-Thims and Miller engineering firm in Jacksonville, FL. Bob was a loving father, grandfather, devoted husband, and spiritual leader of his family. Bob enjoyed fishing, golfing, woodworking, watching his Boston Red Sox finally win the World Series and spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his wife, Jane; children, Robert (Naema), Barbara Smith (Greg) and Kimberly Miller (Michael); and grandchildren, Hannah, Samuel, Ashley, and Matthew.
Visitation is scheduled Monday, April 11 at 9:30 am, Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 am at Pinecrest Funeral Home, Spring Hill. Interment will follow at 12:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL
