MILLS, GEORGE R., 94, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Spring Hill, FL. He was born in Stratford, Ontario and grew up in Detroit,MI. Mr. Mills has been a resident of this area since 1979. George was a proud American and a veteran of the US Army. He was a member of St Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. He is survived by his loving family, including: two sons, Raymond (Rosemarie) of Bellaire, MI and Kenneth (Bernadette) of Frankfurt, KY; his daughter Patricia (Dave) Robinson of Spring Hill, FL; a sister Dorothy Allen of Michigan; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and best friend, Nettie Monzo. He was preceded in death by his wife Harriett in 1999, and a daughter, Mary Mills. A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, March 23, 10:00AM at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel on Mariner Boulevard. Family suggests memorials be made to either HPH Hospice, 12107 Majestic Blvd, Hudson, FL 34667 or Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
