Len was a great boss and a great friend. I was sorry to hear of his passing. He always made his team of professionals shine and he was always our biggest FAN! I feel grateful to have worked with him.

Len was such a neat guy, a true friend to Darcy and so, so talented! He had us over for dinner when we were in Omaha a few years ago and we enjoyed seeing his house and all of his amazing Halloween decorations.. he even sent us home with some of his goodies!
He was always so generous and when Darcy bought her house he was really excited to buy a chandelier for her dining room! (Of course she wouldn't let him, but how nice was that!??)
He was so kindhearted and brought so much joy to everyone he encountered and he will truly be missed.
Your sweet family is in our prayers... love, Terri Miller & Whitney Miller

We are family despite our differences through the years … Lennie you still owe me that lollipop for the bag of dog poo on the neighbors porch and that kamikaze sleigh ride down the back yard around the side of the house in Caldwell. Until we meet again

It was with great sadness that I learned about Leonards passing. I found Leonard to be one of the most rarest of Gentlemen. We had a professional relationship and it was a pleasure working with him throughout the entire process. He knew how to treat people well. I saw him many time striking up conversations with complete strangers and he could always find something in common with all of them. This was mentioned many times by others that came in contact with him. My sincerest sympathy to the family of Leonard,

It was our great pleasure to meet Len recently and spend some time getting to know him. He spoke so fondly of his life experiences and the friends he made along the way and also his love of cooking and entertaining. We know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him and our most sincere condolences go out to his family. RIP Len, a gentleman gone too soon.

We are thankful we worked with Len at Nebraska Medicine. He had a great clinical experience when he joined our Social Work Department and he worked with our Liver and Small Bowel Transplant patients. His assessment and clinical skills greatly contributed to our patients.
While Len was a valued member of the transplant team with all his psychosocial evaluation skills, outside of work, he loved to entertain. He loved decorating for the holidays & he loved hosting the department Christmas party (attached 2 photos).
Am thinking and praying for Len's family during this difficult time.

The Liver Transplant Team was blessed to have Len as a member of our team. He always had a way of connecting with patients and their care partners. As a mother of young men who are active military, Len always reached out to me to check on them. He was a special man and he will be missed. My prayers are with his family and friends.
