Obituary of Colleen Elizabeth Fail

Please share a memory of Colleen to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Fail, Colleen E., 33, of Spring Hill, joined her heavenly father July 3, 2021. Colleen was born in Elyria, Ohio to James and Patricia Simone. Colleen enjoyed playing softball in her youth, as well as watching softball. Colleen earned both her Bachelor’s and Master's Degrees through the University of Florida. Colleen worked as a teacher in the Hernando County school system, earning "Teacher of the Year" this past November; she loved her job and her students. Colleen also had an immense love of reading and sharing books. Colleen loved being a mother and singing to her daughter. Colleen is survived by her loving family, husband, Brandon, daughter, Hannah, her parents, James and Patricia, sisters, Kathleen and Tina and her husband, Gary II, and their children, Manning and Simone. Visitation will take place Friday, July 9, from 12-2pm at SpringLife Church, with a service at 2pm. I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an after-glow of smiles when my day is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of the happy times, the laughing times, the bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve for me to dry tonight before the setting of the sun, and to think of all the happy memories I leave behind when my day is done.
