Obituary of John Alexander Ostroski

Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
January 20, 1972 - June 15, 2021 John Alexander Ostroski, aka John John, aka The Man, aka Ozman, aka Jonathan (only when in trouble) died suddenly at the age of 49 on June 15, 2021. He was born in Denver, Colorado but spent most of his childhood in Levittown on Long Island, New York. John was very active with sports, lacrosse and paper routes. He and his family moved to Spring Hill, Florida when he was in high school, where he excelled in wrestling and met his first love, a 1979 Trans Am. When John was 22 he met his wife at Publix. She worked in the Bakery and he worked in the Produce department. He worked his way up to Produce Manager and remained in that job for several years. John decided he needed a change , went to climbing school and became a lineman. John was a traveling lineman and had an extreme passion for his chosen profession, making many friends, contacts and brothers throughout his career. He was working in California at the time of his death, but lived in Spring Hill, Florida with his family. John was very proud of his family, almost as proud as he was of his epic beard. He had just celebrated his 26th wedding anniversary with his wife and would tell anyone that would listen about his children. (Anyone who has ever engaged him in conversation knew he liked to talk) He always instilled in his daughters how important it was for them to be strong and independent. He always said he didn't need to have a son because he loved his girls to pieces. John was highly skilled, not just as his job, but seemingly everything. You could just give him a few tools and supplies and he'd build anything. He recently repainted and re-baseboarded our house, was very excited about it and it looks great. John is survived by his wife, Kerry, daughters, Krista(Jose), Becca(Todd) and Jessica, granddaughters, Natalie, Zoey and Mavis, his favorite cat Tank and "The little Stain" Boo. We all love and miss you so much honey. Until we meet again, remember I'm in the palm of your hand and you're wrapped around my finger. Funeral services will be private.
