Obituary of Joseph Carroll Gambrell

Joseph Carroll Gambrell Jr 59 of SpringHill, Florida passed away on June 8th, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Carroll Gambrell Sr. and Linda Smith Gambrell. Survivors include his beloved wife of 39 years Joyce Gambrell, a son Joseph Carroll Gambrell III; daughter Melinda Pennell (Robert); Brother Tony Gambrell (Angie); sisters Carolyn Jernigan (Ted); Brenda Wise (Chuck); Lisa Jolliff (Shane); and six grandchildren. Joseph was a retired Communications Center Technology Manager at Tampa International Airport, he was an avid star trek fan, loved computers, woodworking, and was a big Buccaneers fan. On Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at 3:00 PM there will be a Celebration of Life held at First Baptist Church of Weeki Wachee Acres. I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one. I’d like to leave an after-glow of smiles when my day is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways of the happy times, the laughing times, the bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve for me to dry tonight before the setting of the sun, and to think of all the happy memories I leave behind when my day is done.
