Obituary of Goldie Holbrook

Goldie Holbrook, age 71, originally from New Albany, IN returned to her heavenly father after losing her ten-year battle with cancer on Dec. 9th. 2020. She was greatly respected for how hard she fought to survive. Goldie retired from the U.S. Census Bureau, where she worked in several clerical and supervisory positions. She has been living in Florida for the last five years where she enjoyed crafts, playing cards, and visiting with her family. She had a great love for reading. Goldie was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Zetta Fulkerson, and her brother James. Beloved sister of her brother Leroy Fulkerson (Jan,) and sister's Darlene Milam, and Joyce Wynn (Roger.) Goldie was also survived by two nephews and four nieces. She was cremated in Florida with the wish for her ashes to be spread in the Gulf of Mexico by her brother and sisters. Goldie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
