I worked with Ted for many years at the water mgmt district. Ted
was an extremely smart devoted environmental scientist that worked hard but always smiled. He was a kind gentle man of great wisdom. As a scientist, he was one of the first to develop water level drawdown standards from pumping that would cause an environmental impact to a wetland. This standard helped the District determine what level of groundwater pumping would adversely impact the ecology. He assisted staff in getting a major utility in the tampa bay region to cutback their pumping by 40% to restore the ecology of the region. Ted was a great scientist but more than that a very kind decent man. I shall miss him.
