Obituary of George Richard Ralston

Please share a memory of George to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
George R. Ralston February 1942-June 2020 George has passed peacefully. He went home to be with angels and joined other resting relatives on the morning of June 25th, 2020. He was born in Fishtown, Philadelphia. Beginning in 1998, he eventually lived in Spring Hill, Florida with immediate family. He survived by: spouse Jane Ralston, daughter Catherine Ralston, and granddaughter Kenberly Ralston. George proudly served our U.S. military within the branches of the Army and Marines for 32 years. To all that knew him, he was much more than a [never retiring] soldier. He was a faithful husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Anyone he talked to was met with warmth, kindness, and God’s love. He was a good leader and provider; a great listener as well as advisor. George was a great story teller. He naturally had a well-rounded humorous nature like no other. Even through the disease, you always saw his most authentic self shining through! He collected fun things such as frogs, old soda cans, mugs, and unique cologne bottles. John Wayne was his most favorite cowboy and tv star; he enjoyed every Elvis song in existence but one. He always thought of others and pushed them to grow for their best suited path/potentials. He made the best out of every worst situation. With that said, we like to reminisce and pray that all his dreams came true. We know he was immediately welcomed in by the arms of The Father and heard, “Well done good and faithful servant.”
