I too just found out about Mickey’s passing. He was a HS friend and always laughing and smiling. No one could surpass his talent playing basketball. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. This is stark reminder to keep family and old and new friends dear. Love you Mickey. Tish Tierner Wagner

I had the pleasure of working with Mickey on an arbitration involving Rangemark many years ago. I say pleasure because it was always a delight to be with him. He never lost his sense of humor and seemed to have an endless supply of jokes and funny stories. I particularly remember that he showed me a newspaper photo of him taking a shot in a high school basketball game, and telling me that an instant after the photo was snapped, his shot was blocked by Lew Alcindor. Mickey was an original.

Mickey, your passing was sudden and unexpected. As I said many times, outside of Irene, you are my best friend. I remember our adventures at J Edgars, Muldoon’s, football games, and our Sunday morning golf outings. Every Sunday morning while at Ranger we would have a golf cart full of beer and clubs. I have forgotten if our contest was golf or who could drink the most beer. You also we introduced Irene to me on the 4th of July at Muldoon’s. You had returned from old Saigon with Lola. Irene and her girl friend also came back from the play. I can write a thousand page book about our adventures. Miss you buddy and keep a seat upstairs in the VIP suite so we can share a beer and hot dog again. Art

Mickey was always bigger than life and enlightened the lives of everyone around him. Jane and I vacationed with Mickey and the family many years ago, and Mick and I spent countless hours playing, watching, and discussing sports teams throughout the years. He will be greatly missed.

Mickey was a good friend and advisor during our time together at Ranger Insurance Company. We shared many meetings, meals, 4ths of JUly and just a few drinks. We learned how to avoid designated seat assignments for corporate dinner parties at Ranger. Mary Fran and I want to extend our deepest sympathy to Kelly and Keane and all the family. Rest in peace, Mick!

Figured I’d share some of my favorite pictures. Miss you more and more everyday, Grandpa Mickey. Thank you for the continuous love and support you showed towards me in everything that I did. I still can’t believe that you’re gone, but I know you’re watching over me. I can’t wait till I see you again. I’ll try to have all of the best Grateful Dead songs memorized by then!❤️
-Your Granddaughter, Ally

Dad,
I still am having such a hard time with the fact you are gone. I go to call or text you about 50 times a day. I know you are looking down from Heaven and being our guardian angel. I miss you so very much and I will love you until my last day here on Earth. I look forward to seeing you in the next life. Your daughter,
Kelly
