Obituary of Ralph Peter Risley

Ralph Peter Risley, 70, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2012 at Oak Hill Hospital. He was a native of Hartford, CT and a resident of this area for the past eight years coming from Stockbridge, GA. He had worked as a quality control manager for Pratt Whitney for 35 years in Hartford, CT, he was a member and past exalted ruler of Brooksville Elks Lodge # 2582 and had previously attended First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Maureen; four children, Michael W. Risley of Vero Beach, FL, Scott P. Risley of Salt Lake City, UT, Kimberly R. Davis of Atlanta, GA, Kirk A. Risley of Cartersville, GA; one brother, Harold Benson of Hartford, CT; two sisters, Cynthia Stason of Belleville, IL, Barbara Benson of E. Hartford, CT; and five grandchildren, Zack Risley, Jackson Risley, Ellen Davis, Alice Davis and Sally Davis. He is preceded in death by his beloved second wife of 29 years, Alice Elizabeth Emery Risley, who passed away on July 10, 1999. A Memorial Service will be conducted at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, Cortez Boulevard, on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11:00 am.
