Obituary of William Francis Kretschmer

Kretschmer, William Francis, 73, of Spring Hill, passed on December 15, 2019. A native of Brooklyn, NY, William had been a resident of this area for 15 years. He is a veteran of both the United States Air Force and the New York City Police Department where he retired as a detective.

His mornings always started off at the Target Starbucks on Commercial Way (US 19) in Spring Hill where he would enjoy a caramel latte, crossword puzzles, and visiting with his “Target Girls”. William also enjoyed fishing in Alaska, and cooking and baking every day.

Mr. Kretschmer is survived his wife Andrea Talbot, step daughter Laura Talbot, step son Daniel and his wife Vishia Talbot, step granddaughter Aspen Talbot, daughter Kimberly Kretschmer, and grandson Jason Kretschmer.

There will be a celebration of life service held at a later date.
